Tickets are sold at the museum box office on site. Online reservation not possible. It is not necessary to reserve a time slot for your visit to the museum.

Deutsches Romantik-Museum

Public introduction to the Deutsches Romantik-Museum in German

The public introductions offer a 30-minute insight into the exhibition concept of the museum. Participation is included in the admission price. Without registration, places subject to availability, max. 15 participants.

Available in German, Einfacher Sprache and English. Also in Korean for the Frankfurter Goethe-Haus.

Rental devices including headphones available at the ticket counter. Rental fee per mediaguide: 3 € plus deposit.

Accessibility

The entire new building with the Deutsches Romantik-Museum, the Goethe-Galerie and the temporary exhibition area is barrier-free accessible.

The lift in the new museum building is expected to be out of service until 11 December due to a technical defect. We apologise for any inconvenience.

The historic Goethe-Haus can only be reached via stairs. It is not accessible for wheelchairs and prams.

Wardrobe & Bags

Bags (larger than A4), backpacks and umbrellas may not be taken into the exhibition rooms. Lockers are available for your cloakrooms and bags. Please have €1 or €2 coins ready to use the lockers.

The consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the exhibition rooms. It is also not permitted to bring liquids into the exhibition rooms. Our cloakroom lockers are available for storage.

No liability is accepted for the contents of the lockers.
